How NYC Property Appliance Repair collects, uses, and protects your information.
Last updated: October 22, 2026
Overview
NYC Property Appliance Repair ("we," "us," or "our"), operated by NP Appliance Repair LLC, provides appliance repair services to property managers, building supervisors and building owners in New York City. This policy explains what we collect through this website and what we do with it.
What we collect
When you open a work order or request a call back, we collect the contact details you give us, typically a name, phone number, email address, the building address and the unit, together with your description of the fault and any photos you choose to attach. Beyond standard web analytics and the marketing attribution described below, we collect nothing else about you from this site.
Why we collect it
We use these details for one purpose: to respond to your service request, schedule access, perform the repair, and invoice the work. Contact details submitted through this site are shared with our dispatch and scheduling systems so a technician can reach you.
What we do not do
We do not sell your personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing. We do not use your service photos for anything other than diagnosing and documenting the repair you asked us about.
Analytics
This site uses standard web analytics to understand which pages are useful. That data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
Marketing attribution
If you reach this site from an online ad or campaign, we record how you arrived — the ad click identifier (such as Google's gclid), any campaign (UTM) parameters in the link, the page you landed on, and the site that referred you. This is kept in your browser's first-party storage for up to 90 days and used only to connect your work order to the ad or channel that brought you. It is never sold, and never shared with third parties for their own marketing.
Repair cost estimator
If you use the repair cost estimator, the answers you type (the appliance, its model and what is wrong with it) are sent to OpenAI, which we use to choose the next question and the most likely repair. OpenAI processes them for us under its API terms, which do not allow it to train its models on them. Prices are calculated from our own price list, not by the AI.
We keep your answers, including text you type but do not send, together with any name, phone number and address you give. We use them to arrange the repair, to contact you if you left a phone number, and to improve our estimates and services.
Retention
Service records, the work order, the fault found and the parts replaced, are retained as business records, because they are exactly what a property manager may later need us to produce for an owner, a board or a tenant file.
Your choices
You can ask us what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete contact details we are not required to retain as a business record. Call the number published on this site to make that request.
Changes
If this policy changes, the effective date above changes with it.
