What appliance repairs cost in a managed NYC building
Most in-unit appliance repairs are small jobs: a jammed disposal, a clogged dishwasher drain or a PTAC that needs cleaning is usually fixed on the first visit. A refrigerator compressor or a sealed-system leak is the expensive end. Either way the service call covers the visit and the on-site diagnosis, and the estimator shows the typical range before you commit to anything.
Describe the problem above the way the tenant or super reported it: the appliance, what it is doing, an error code if it shows one. The estimator reads that, asks one quick question only when the answer would change the price, and matches it to the repairs we do most often and prices them from our standard parts and labor rates, so you can budget before the work order goes out.
An estimate is not a quote. The technician tests the unit, tells you exactly what failed and what it costs, and nothing is repaired until you approve the price.
